Led by Paris Kalamaras, a native Athens, Greece, ACF has been playing local stages - and gaining attention from area music fans - for almost two years. Combining sensitive lyrics with an original blend of Grunge and melodic rock, ACF's music evidences influences ranging
from Nirvana to Metallica, from Alice In Chains to The Offspring, and from The Smashing Pumpkins to The Cranberries, Diafana Krina, and beyond.

After watching the 1991 John Travolta movie "Shout", Kalamaris and several friends were each inspired to learn to play an instrument,
with Paris learning the drums and writing lyrics. In 2002, Paris left Greece for the United States, and by 2004, he was playing guitar and established A Crucifying Feeling in Philadelphia, PA. The band released its first EP, "New Age Grunge," in 2007.

In April 2010, Kalamaras and fellow Grunge frontman Andrei SoulsilenS founded the Alternative Grunge movement in Philadelphia. Now rounded out by multitalented bassist, guitarist, singer, and lyricist Jarod Kulp, and experienced drummer Nick Mavromanolis, A Crucifying Feeling continues to attract new attention, inspire loyal fans, and generate excitement, and the band is planning to release its debut LP,
"From Dust To Life," later this year.
